East Brunswick Celebrates AAHPI Heritage Month

A Week Long Celebration Honoring AAPI Heritage with Heart and Flavor

On Thursday, May 22nd, the East Brunswick office wrapped up a vibrant and flavorful three-day celebration in honor of Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month—and what a week it was! Each day was dedicated to honoring a different AAPI cultural group, creating a rich and immersive experience for all.

The celebration kicked off daily with an inspiring presentation by Aimee Chan, who shared the cultural significance, history, and importance of recognizing AAPI Heritage. Her thoughtful words set the tone for each day and helped foster a deeper appreciation for the diverse communities represented.

The Café was filled with vibrant conversations, laughter, and the delicious aromas of authentic Asian cuisine. Each day brought a new cultural experience that employees truly enjoyed. Check out some of the highlights below!

Key highlights:

  • Tasty Travels Through Asia: Attendees enjoyed Indian dishes on Tuesday, steamed Chinese dumplings on Wednesday, and Thai cuisine on Thursday, sparking conversations and compliments

  • Trivia & Togetherness: Trivia games during snack time brought fun and friendly competition, engaging participants with AAPI culture, history, and facts

We meant to take more photos… but the dumplings distracted us. And then the trivia. And then the second helping. Basically, we were living in the moment—and it was delicious.

Thank you to all who participated and shout out to Aimee Chan for leading our engaging sessions!
