The ability to recognize our emotions and direct how we react to the different stimuli in our environment is a skill that demonstrates emotional intelligence. When we talk about Emotional Intelligence, we refer to the ability to understand, use and manage our own emotions in ways that reduce stress, help communicate effectively, empathize with other people, overcome challenges and reduce conflicts.
Increasing our emotional intelligence provides elements of great help for intrapersonal and interpersonal leadership, since the knowledge and application of certain tools allows us to have better personal balance and greater capacity for influence.
